Reservations and Payments

To confirm your participation in any of our trips, you will have to pay in advance the 50% of the total cost of the trip. Please consider that finally we have to receive the “total amount” of the cost of the trip you selected, Hello Patagonia will cover WeTravel.com payment fees. (WeTravel is the payment platform used) The client must cover their credit card fees. The remaining balance (50%) must be paid 120 days before your trip date.

When we receive your deposit, along with your booking form, we will send you an email with the confirmation of your booking. Once we send that email, we will inform if your ideal accommodation (Refugio or camping) was available or not. In case your ideal accommodation is not available, Hello Patagonia will book the second closest option. (Refugio or full gear camping or the closest facility).

 

Refunds

No Show

In the event that a customer does not show up for the start of the trip the company will assume the non-participation of the client and thus the sections of the trip will be at the disposal of the company. The customer can continue with the itinerary of the trip only in the event that there is availability.

The customer is not entitled to any refund for the sections of the trip not used. Hello Patagonia will not offer refunds to those who have voluntarily not used the services for whatever reason including flight delays, cancellations, health issues of any kind or changes of mind.

Cancellations

Hello Patagonia’s cancellation fees as mentioned below are strictly enforced with no exceptions. Hello Patagonia recommends that customers purchase cancellation insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen cancellations and emergencies OF ANY KIND. If you cancel your reservation 121 days or more prior to departure for ANY REASON, we will refund 100% of your payment, except the cancellation fee of US$150 per person. This fee is computed as of date of our actual receipt of your cancellation notice (by e-mail). Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing via e-mail.

After 120 days, there´s a $100 USD canellation fee and the following rates apply:

​

- 120 to 81 days prior to the trip - refund of 40% of the total payment

- 80 to 61 days prior to the trip - refund of 10% of the total payment

- 60 days prior to the trip - no refund

​

The expenses to send the money to the country of the customer (bank commissions, credit card fees etc.) will be covered by the guest.

Force Majeure

Hello Patagonia can adjust the trip price at any moment (with a limit of 25% increase) due to any situation that´s not under Hello Patagonia´s control: Oil prices, Political Conflicts, Natural Disasters, etc.)

 

Disclaim of Responsability

Hello Patagonia is not responsible for any injury the guests may suffer in case of any accident during the trip. Hello Patagonia recommends that the guest pays for medical, trip and accident insurance. To put together this package, Hello Patagonia hires services from other companies, Hello Patagonia is not responsible in a way for this other companies services and quality or terms and conditions. Nevertheless, we select our partners very carefully to try to give our guests the best options available.

Trip Changes

If you want to make any changes to your trip once you have made your first payment (for any reson: personal, medical, etc.) They are all subject to availability and the following rates apply:

- Changing trip dates: $100 USD pp fee. This changes are subject to availability.

- Transportation times: You can change your transportation times up to 30 days before your trip date. After this, we will charge a $20 USD pp fee for any change.

- Changing the trip itinerary: $80 USD pp fee. This changes are subject to availability.

- Add-ons: You can add any add-on up to 60 days before your trip start date. After this time, we will charge a $20 USD pp fee to make the change to your trip.

 

Transportation

Hello Patagonia provides shared transportation among Hello Patagonia guests (only) for all of our trips. This means that your transportation may be shared with other Hello Patagonia guests that are doing your same route and time. (maximum of 8 guest). The time limit that a driver will wait for you is: 15 min for transportation from Puerto Natales to the Park and 40 min from the Park to Puerto Natales. We apreciate punctuality in order to respect shared transportation.

 

If you prefer a private transportation (not shared) you can pay an extra $90 USD pp fee based on two guests min. or $180 USD for a solo traveller. (Please note that you have to select this option at the moment of booking your trip).

Emergencies

Hello Patagonia is not resposible for any medical emergency that the customer has during the trip. The customer must get help with the park authorities (CONAF). Hello Patagonia will support the customer with advice via whatsapp or email comunication only.

Luggage Storage

Hello Patagonia offers luggage storage. This service is free and based on mutual trust. However, Hello Patagonia is not responsible for any loss or damage of luggage or items during transportation or of any other force majeure events.
