This itinerary adds two days to the original W trek at the beginning and the end.

ITINERARY

  • Trekking office at Puerto Natales

    Welcome to your self-guided trek trip.

     

    Afternoon briefing at Hello Patagonia ́s office (schedule to be confirmed) we will give you a great waterproof map, your printed documents for the trip and a delicious lunch for the next day.

  • Difficulty: Medium / Demanding

    Highlights: Laguna Amarga, Paine Towers


    Meals Included: Homemade Lunch Box by Hello Patagonia, Dinner at Central or Chileno Refugio

    Accommodation: Refugio or full-equipped camping options. Hot showers and toilets available.

    At 12:00 hrs our private transportation picks you up in Puerto Natales.
    It is 2.5 hr. drive to Torres del Paine National Park. which was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1978. The entrance fee to the park is included. The transportation will drop you off at Las Torres welcome center.

  • Difficulty: Medium / Demanding
    Hike: 8 to 9 hrs. round trip, 20 km elevation gain: 1,042 m


    Highlights: Almirante Nieto Mountain, Paine Towers and Lagoon.
    Meals Included: Homemade Lunch Box by Hello Patagonia, Dinner at Central or Chileno* Refugio

    Accommodation: Refugio or full-equipped camping options. Hot showers and toilets available.

    Today you will trek to the base of the Paine Towers! The most famous trail in the park. The trek is an uphill almost all the way, but it is completely worth it when you get to the Towers Lookout! A unique view of the three huge granite giants and it’s turquoise Lagoon. Return to Las Torres Hotel

    *Chileno has only camping option with an extra supplement of $35 usd per person

  • Difficulty: Low / Medium
    Trekking: 3,5 to 4 hours, (13 km) elevation gain: 312 m


    Highlights: Nordenskjold Lake, Paine Horns, Almirante Nieto Mountain
    Meals Included: Breakfast, Box Lunch at Las Torres Refugio and Dinner at Cuernos or Frances*

    Accommodation: Refugio or full-equipped camping options. Hot showers and toilets available.

    You have the whole day to walk from Central Refugio to Los Cuernos or Frances Domes (depending on availability at the moment of booking). The trail runs along the shores of Nordenskjold Lake through Beautiful Native Forests.

  • Difficulty: Medium / Demanding
    Trekking: 9 to 10 hours, 18,8 km Elevation gain to British lookout: 1,099 m


    Highlights: French Valley, Paine Horns, Paine Grande Mountain, French Glacier.
    Meals Included: Breakfast and Box Lunch at Cuernos or Frances, Dinner at Paine Grande Refugio

    Accommodation: Refugio or full-equipped camping options. Hot showers and toilets available.

    Today you will explore the beautiful French Valley. You can choose the difficulty of the day if you decide to walk to the last viewpoint, you will have a panoramic view of the western sector of the Valley and the mountains such as the North Peak of Paine Grande, Castillo (Castle), Cota 2000, Catedral, Aleta del Tiburon (Shark’s Fin) amongst other granite peaks. After the Valley, the trail continues to Paine Grande Refugio, you will spend the night here.

  • Difficulty: Medium
    Trekking: 3,5 to 4 hrs. 11 km


    Highlights: Grey Glacier, Grey Lake’s icebergs, Paine Massif
    Meals Included: Breakfast, Box lunch at Paine Grande Refugio, Dinner at Grey Refugio

    Accommodation: Refugio or full-equipped camping options. Hot showers and toilets available.

    After breakfast, you will trek to Grey Refugio with incredible views of the magnificent Grey Glacier. There are a couple of lookouts of the Glacier on the way and you will get closer and closer!

  • Difficulty: Low
    Trekking: 2.5 to 3 hrs.


    Highlights: Grey Glacier bridges, Grey Lake, Southern Patagonian Icefield Meals Included: Breakfast, Box lunch and Dinner at Grey Refugio Accommodation: Refugio or full-equipped camping options. Hot showers and toilets available.

    Round trip trek to Grey suspension bridges! They have amazing views of the Glacier from a higher ground! Right after the second bridge, 10 min more hiking, there ́s an amazing secret lookout where you can rest and enjoy!

  • Difficulty: Medium
    Trekking: 3.5 to 4 hours / 11 km 


    Meals Included: Breakfast and Box lunch at Grey Refugio

    Accommodation: Refugio or full-equipped camping options. Hot showers and toilets available.

    Trek back to Paine Grande Refugio to catch the Catamarán to Pudeto dock (17:00 hrs), tickets included) Private transportation back to Puerto Natales.
