This is an extended version of the original 5 day trek, which will allow you to apreciate with pace! This, like all of our trips, is a Self-guided trip! It gives you all the freedom to be your own guide, but without doing all the hard work that involves planning a big trip! We will do all that work for you, so that you can just enjoy your adventure!

Please take in consideration that Backpacking and Trekking experience is required for all of our trips. All of our trips are self-guided.
This itinerary adds two days to the original W trek at the beginning and the end.

ITINERARY

Welcome to your self-guided trek trip.
Afternoon briefing at Hello Patagonia ́s office (schedule to be confirmed) we will give you a great waterproof map, your printed documents for the trip and a delicious lunch for the next day.

At 9:00 hrs our private transportation picks you up in Puerto Natales. It is 2.5 hr. drive to Torres del Paine National Park which was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1978.
The entrance fee to the park is included.
Visit to Salto Grande waterfall. Round trip hike to los Cuernos lookout, which has one of the most amazing views of the whole Paine Massif! (2 hrs. round trip)
On the way back, the driver will stop at some lookouts for some picture opportunities.
Drop off at Las Torres Welcome Center. 5min walk to Central Refugio / Campsite.
Free afternoon to enjoy and rest.

Distance: 8 to 9 hrs. Round trip: 19,07 km Elevation Gain: 1,027 m
Highlights: Almirante Nieto Mountain, Paine Towers
Meals Included: Breakfast, Packed Lunch and Dinner at Central Refugio
Accommodation: Central or Chileno* (hot showers and toilets available)

Today you will hike the most famous trail in the park. The hike is an uphill almost all the way, but it is completely worth it when you get to the Towers Lookout! A unique view of the three huge granite giants and its turquoise Lagoon.
Hike back to accommodation.
This is the busiest trail of the park. The good news is that you will start before the crowds that do this trail as a day hike from Puerto Natales. You will be comming back when they start comming up.
* You can stay at Central or Chileno, depending on availability at the moment of booking. Chileno has only camping.

Distance: 5 to 6 hrs One way: 17,52 km Elevation Gain: 395 m
Highlights: Nordenskjold Lake, Paine Horns, Almirante Nieto Mountain
Meals Included: Breakfast, Packed Lunch at Central Refugio and Dinner at Frances Refugio
Accommodation: Frances* (hot showers and toilets available)
A) Camping: double private tents with sleeping bags and mats included
B) Refugio: shared dorms with sleeping bags and pillows included
You have the whole day to hike from Central Refugio to Los Cuernos or Frances Domes (depending on availability at the moment of booking). The trail runs along the shores of Nordenskjold Lake through Beautiful Native Forests.
*You can stay at Cuernos instead of Frances. Depending on availability. (1 hr 3.6km apart).


Difficulty: Medium / Demanding
Distance: Time and distance will depend on the lookout you choose.
British lookout: 9 to10 hrs, 20.5 km Elevation Gain: 1,099 m
French Lookout: 5 to 6 hrs, 11.6 km
Highlights: French Valley, Paine Horns, Paine Grande Mountain, French Glacier.

Today you will explore the beautiful French Valley. After Italiano Ranger station, there are a couple lookouts on the Valley. You can choose the difficulty of the day depending on how far you want to get to. If you decide to walk to the last viewpoint, you will have a panoramic view of the western sector of the Valley and the mountains such as the North Peak of Paine Grande, Castillo (Castle), Cota 2000, Catedral, Aleta del Tiburon (Shark’s Fin) amongst other granite peaks.
After the Valley, the trail continues to Paine Grande Refugio, where you will spend the night.

Distance: 3,5 to 4 hrs. 10,95 km Elevation Gain: 338 m
Highlights: Grey Glacier, Grey Lake’s icebergs, Paine Massif
Meals Included: Breakfast and Packed Lunch Paine Grande Refugio, Dinner at Grey Refugio
Accommodation: Grey (hot showers and toilets available)
A) Camping: double private tents with sleeping bags and mats included
B) Refugio: shared dorms with sleeping bags and pillows included
After breakfast, you will hike to Grey Refugio with incredible views of the magnificent Grey Glacier. There are a couple lookouts of the Glacier on the way.


Difficulty: Low
Distance: 2.5 to 3 hrs. (you can choose to go further up the trail)
Highlights: Grey Glacier, Grey Lake’s icebergs
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Grey Refugio
Accommodation: Grey (hot showers and toilets available)
A) Camping: double private tents with sleeping bags and mats included
B) Refugio: shared dorms with sleeping bags and pillows included
Today you can rest or hike to Grey Hanging bridges. (2.5 hrs round trip) Back to Grey Refugio, you can enjoy a hot lunch at the dining room instead of a packed lunch.
Free afternoon to enjoy the area.

Distance: 3,5 to 4 hrs. 10,95 km Elevation Gain: 338 m
Highlights: Pehoe Lake, Grey Lake and Icebergs
Meals Included: Breakfast and Packed Lunch at Grey Refugio
Trek back to Paine Grande Refugio to catch the Catamarán to Pudeto dock (17:00 hrs). Tickets included.
Private transportation back to Puerto Natales. Arrival at your accommodation: 20:00 hrs. aprox.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Reservations and Payments
Pre-season booking (booking queue) - To reserve a spot on the booking queue, you must pay the 25% of the total of the trip. This amount is 100% refundable if you decide to cancel before June 15th 2025. - To confirm your participation in any of our trips, you will have to pay in advance the 50% of the total cost of the trip. Please consider that finally we have to receive the “total amount” of the cost of the trip you selected, Hello Patagonia will cover WeTravel.com payment fees. (WeTravel is thepayment plattform used.) The client must cover their credit card fees. - The remaining balance must to be paid 90 days before your trip date. When we receive your deposit, along with your booking form, we will send you an email with the confirmation of your booking.
Refunds No Show - In the event that a customer does not show up for the start of the trip the company will assume the non-participation of the client and thus the sections of the trip will be at the disposal of the company. The customer can continue with the itinerary of the trip only in the event that there is availability. - The customer is not entitled to any refund for the sections of the trip not used. Hello Patagonia will not offer refunds to those who have voluntarily not used the services for whatever reason including flight delays, cancellations or changes of mind.
Cancellations - If you cancel your reservation for any reason, payments made to Hello Patagonia will be refunded minus a cancellation fee of US$150. This fee is computed as of date of our actual receipt of your cancellation notice (by e-mail). Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing via e-mail. - If you cancel your reservation 90 days or more prior to departure, we will refund 100% of your money, except the cancellation fee of US$150. After that, the following rates apply: 89 to 51 days prior to the trip - refund of 40% of the total payment 50 to 31 days prior to the trip - refund of 10% of the total payment 30 days prior to the trip - no refund The expenses to send the money to the country of the customer (bank commissions, fees etc.) will be discounted from this percentage.
Hello Patagonia is not responsible for any injury the guests may suffer in case of any accident during the trip. Hello Patagonia recommends that the guest pays for medical, trip and accident insurance. To put together this package, Hello Patagonia hires services from other companies, Hello Patagonia is not responsible in an way for this other companies services and quality or terms and conditions. Nevertheless, we select our partners very carefully to try to give our guests the best options available.
Hello Patagonia recommends that you hire Travel Insurance to protect your trip payment in case of any canellations due to weather or Force Majeure (events above Hello Patagonia´s control, natural disasters, etc.)
